Hi Welcome!

About Me
Brianna Yoritate
My name is Brianna Yoritate and I am 18 years old. I was adopted and born in China around 2001. My mom is Chinese and my dad is Japanese, I would and wouldn’t consider myself half but it’s up to you what you think. Without them I wouldn’t be here in California and be able to say that I’m going to college. Thanks to them I am able to take part in something a lot of kids can’t afford or be a part. From a young age I was taught to swim and that stayed relatively close to me for as long as I can remember. I love the water and was a part of different swim teams during summer but was never a part of my school team. Even now I swim when I have time but don't swim team anymore, but will always look back at those times and to think on how swimming has had a big impact on my life. During high school something I stuck to all four years would be the marching band. It was something I wasn’t the greatest at but I loved the thoughts of meeting new people, traveling to different schools, and to see and compete against them. Meeting the new freshman as the years go by and to be great friends with them. Those were the best parts of high school. It gave me responsibilities such as time management, diligence, and to keep focus on the main goal. All these experiences are what helped me become me and I may feel like I took the path that was difficult but somehow I made it and that’s what counts.
